March Topic: Uschi Carpenter’s Bird Photography and Presentation
Ursula “Uschi” Carpenter is a photographer based in Missoula, Montana. She passionately pursues the alchemy of turning birds into poetry with both images and words. It is her hope to reveal the healing power of birds by showcasing their beauty and to raise awareness for the need to safeguard their future in our wounded world. In her presentation “Savor what Remains – Affirmations of Wonder in a Wounded World,” Uschi will talk about her approach to nature and bird photography and share with us a selection of her “bird poetry.”
Club hosts: Master Naturalists Sarah Elsasser, Bill Buseman, and Elizabeth Johns
