Come on a short, shady walk with botanist Marilyn Marler (MNHC’s Executive Director) to learn about fall fruit types in the State of Montana Arboretum at UM. Many trees produce fruit, but they go way beyond the sweet edible varieties. Instead of pears and apples, we’ll talk about legumes, samaras, capsules, nuts and maybe a few berries. Non-crop tree fruits are beautiful and diverse.
Wheelchair accessible, no prior knowledge needed. Kiddos welcome with a grown up but no dogs please (except service dogs).
