Volunteer Application

winter2011 002The Montana Natural History Center relies upon volunteers to achieve our mission of promoting and cultivating the understanding, appreciation and stewardship of nature through education. We are always looking for good, dedicated volunteers to help us with our numerous programs. We couldn’t do what we do without our fabulous volunteers!

We accept volunteers of all ages and abilities. We have opportunities for teenagers during the summer through our Leaders in Training Program. We can work with college students’ busy schedules and retirees’ vacation plans. Many of our volunteers choose to work with our children’s programs, but we also have opportunities to assist with fundraising, work at our native plant garden, man/woman the front desk, inventory our traveling trunks, and write Field Notes for Montana Public Radio. No matter what your interests, we have an opportunity that will fit you!

If you’d like to volunteer, the first thing to do is to fill out our online volunteer application form. We will get in touch with you shortly thereafter!
