One can easily hear and see 30 species of birds here\, including a nesting osprey and house wrens\, gray catbirds and warblers. On this tour\, you’ll visit five different native gardens in Missoula to help inspire you to create your own native plant garden. Learn about what species to use in your garden\, where you can find native plants\, and best care practices to help your garden thrive! The tour starts at 10:00 AM at the Rocky Mountain Gardens (at the Missoula Fairground). We will discuss their roles in the landscape for pollinators and other animals and conclude the walk at a unique cushion plant community.
