In addition to working\, you can learn about the plants\, birds and ecology of the garden from Elena Ulev\, the Garden Manager. \nVolunteer days begin April 27th and will be most Sundays until July 13. This Tuesday we’ll be exploring Mount Jumbo! \nREGISTER HERE.\nMount Jumbo is one of the best places in Missoula to see wildflowers this time of year. We will slowly hike up to the saddle of Mount Jumbo and see up to 25 species of wildflowers\, from arrowleaf balsamroot to kittentails and death camas. We will discuss their roles in the landscape for pollinators and other animals and conclude the walk at a unique cushion plant community. Volunteering is available most Sunday mornings from 9:00-11:00 a.m. and you can pop in and out any time during that period. We will supply the gloves and tools but if you have your own feel free to bring them. In addition to working\, you can learn about the plants\, birds and ecology of the garden from Elena Ulev\, the Garden Manager. \nDIG IN!
