Here are the kinds of curios and curiosities we’re looking for: \n\nNatural history-related books and field guides\nRocks\, minerals\, shells\, pressed plants\nNature-themed art\nClothing featuring flora/fauna\nTaxidermy\, bones\, furs (please see below for restrictions)\nBinoculars\, magnifying lenses\, microscopes\, spotting scopes\, nets\, and loupes\nNature notecards/postcards\nVintage camping gear\nOutdoor gear\nNature journaling supplies\nAnd more!\n\nMNHC reserves the right to keep\, rather than sell\, any item deemed appropriate for programmatic use. \nPlease note our donation guidelines before you drop anything off! Some items we can’t accept (for example – Is it alive? Is it radioactive?). \nPlease NOTHING: \n\nAlive\nIllegal (endangered species\, protected species\, songbird remains/specimens/feathers\, etc.)\nCultural (arrowheads\, etc.)\nStinky/moldy\nUnsafe to handle (hides tanned with arsenic\, radioactive rocks)\nInappropriate\n\nAnd please no: \n\nMagazines\nCalendars\n\nAll garage sale proceeds will support MNHC’s programming for all ages.
