Situated at the edge of the Bob Marshall Wilderness, your retreat at the Theodore Roosevelt Memorial Ranch will inspire you with abundant natural beauty and provide a special get-away as you feel a deeper sense of connectedness to yourself and your surroundings.

Meet the Instructors

Sara Close, Founder and CEO of Hello Soul Boutique Retreats
Sara is the founder and CEO of Hello Soul Boutique Retreats and yoga instructor. During her career, she’s had the honor of working with many individuals and organizations—from women leaders, to strategic branding firms, to industry leaders like Patagonia—to help advance their visions for affecting change in our communities and our world. As a certified professional coach, facilitator and yoga teacher, Sara is sought after for both personal and corporate services, providing leadership in the areas of values-driven strategy, team development, leadership development, retreat organization, and strategic planning.


Luke Coccoli has been with the Boone and Crockett Club for 7 years. He is a native Montanan and grew up along the Rocky Mountain Front. He has a bachelor’s degree in Fish and Wildlife Management from Montana State University and is currently working towards a Master’s degree in Education from the University of Montana. Luke enjoys spending time outdoors, especially hiking, fly-fishing, and hunting. His dog Timber accompanies him almost everywhere he goes, and his wife Kylee and son Barrett manage the Rasmuson Wildlife Conservation Center throughout the summer months.

This is your retreat, so all activities are optional.

Arrive between 2:00-5:00 p.m.
5:00 p.m. Appetizers and drinks
6:00 p.m. Delicious group wild game dinner and dessert
7:00 p.m. Evening Lecture with Luke Coccoli: ‘Lay of the Land’
8: 15 p.m. Relaxing bedtime yoga with Sara Close

7:30 a.m. Start the day with wake-up yoga with Sara Close
9:00 a.m. Breakfast on your own in the kitchen
10:00 a.m. Guided hike in the Bob Marshall and your own bag lunch in the field with Luke Coccoli. (Hike 4 hours, minimal elevation gain, approx. 5 miles, to a homesteader cabin.) Activity level: easy/intermediate.
2:00 p.m. Archery and target range with Luke Coccoli
4:00 p.m. Invigorating yoga with Sarah Close
5:30 p.m. Appetizers and drinks
6:00 p.m. Dinner on your own
8:00 p.m. Relaxing bedtime yoga with Sara Close

7:30 a.m. Start the day with wake-up yoga with Sara Close
9:00 a.m. Breakfast on your own in the kitchen
10:00 a.m. Signs of Wildlife class in the lab with Luke Coccoli
Noon: Lunch on your own in the kitchen
1:00 p.m. Hike to a vista point with Luke Coccoli (approx. 2 miles, some elevation gain), difficulty level: intermediate.

Retreat Location
Theodore Roosevelt Memorial Ranch (owned by the Boone & Crockett Club) is a 6,500-acre property that lies in the foothills of the east slope of the Rocky Mountains near Dupuyer, Montana.

The property abuts thousands of acres of national forest and wilderness areas and contains critical winter habitat for elk and mule deer. Additionally, whitetail deer, cougar, grizzly and black bears regularly use this property, and bighorn sheep and mountain goats occur in adjacent national forest lands. This unique environment offers the perfect laboratory to study the coexistence of agricultural land uses and wildlife for research purposes.

The ranch has a large dining room and lounge space facing the gorgeous Rocky Mountain Front, an outdoor deck, property to explore, archery and target range, a kitchen fully equipped with cooking implements, and an incredible learning lab with specimens.

Communal rooms are shared accommodation in spacious, bright, clean dorm rooms. Up to three people per room. There are two shared bathrooms with showers.

The Elmer E. Rasmuson Widllife Conservation Center is located on the Theodore Roosevelt Memorial Ranch, just west of Dupuyer, Montana.

We will provide a delicious wild game welcome dinner on Friday night. Vegetarian or vegan options can be available–let us know. Our staff will provide coffee and tea each day, snacks for our hikes, light desserts after each dinner, and evening wine, beer, kombucha, and appetizers while you relax and socialize. To accommodate a wide range of diets and preferences, you will be on your own for breakfast each day, lunch each day, and Saturday dinner. The TRMR has a full kitchen with room for storing food and preparing meals. Please let us know if you have dietary concerns or questions about meals.

How to Get There
Going north on US-89, take the first left as you enter the town of Dupuyer (Dupuyer Creek Road). Continue for eight miles until you reach a fork in the road. Take a left and travel less than a mile until you see the TRM Ranch/RWCC sign with an arrow, and turn right. After you pass the TRM Ranch main entrance, stay left and drive past the upper ranch house and continue on to the Rasmuson Wildlife Conservation Center.

Cancellation Policy
The course fee (minus a 25% administrative fee) is refundable if a cancellation is made up to 30 days before the event. No refunds will be issued for cancellations made after this deadline.
