Sip & Build: Bone Boxes III

October 22, 2019 @ 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm

$30 – $35

Due to the popularity of this program, we are offering a THIRD class this October!

Tap into your forensic and artistic side this October with a specially-themed Sip & Build: Bone Boxes. Your materials: owl pellets filled with bones, small boxes, mini frames, glue, and your own sense of design.

MNHC instructor Christine Morris will discuss the science behind owl pellets before helping guide pellet dissection and the artistic process. Use charts to help determine the animal in your pellet and then determine how you want to mount the bones. These mini shadow boxes are perfect Halloween decorations or art to be enjoyed all year ’round.

Grab a glass of wine or beer and spend a crafty afternoon with us!

Included: All the materials you need (1 owl pellet, mounting material, decorations), 2 glasses of wine or beer per person, and light refreshments)

This project is inspired by the art of Mab Graves.

Cost: $35/$30 MNHC members
