wool felted Yellow Warbler

Location: MNHC

Time: 7:00 p.m.

Felt your own small Yellow Warbler!

Artist and craftswoman Claudia Paillao, owner of Patagonian Hands, will teach you the technique of needle felting. Learn how to make a Yellow Warbler by using barbed needles to poke the wool into shape. Claudia creates animals, mostly birds, using only sheep wool that she gets locally in Montana and from her family’s farm in Chile. You will receive all the supplies and instruction you need to make a small Yellow Warbler sculpture or ornament.

We will have a specimen and a variety of photos available for study so your sculpture can be as accurate as possible. Relax, sip a beverage, and chat with friends as you learn the art of needle felting!

$40; $35 for members. Add your MNHC membership to your order when you check out!

Ticket cost includes all materials and two glasses of wine. Scholarships available – contact us at 406.327.0405 for more information.

Registration is required. Tickets will be available November 1st.

This class is also offered on both December 11 or 12.
