Aug. 7 Creepy, Crawly and Completely Wonderful Insects
We will go outside to our nature adventure garden to capture insects then look at them with our kid magnifiers. We’ll also look at lots of our beautifully preserved butterflies, beetles and more. A fun craft activity will also be available.

Aug. 14 Awesome Owls
Did you know that Montana has 14 species of owls? Some are tiny and some are HUGE! Join us as we look at specimens and learn how they adapt to Montana’s different ecosystems. As always, there will be a fun craft project.

Aug. 21 Nature Adventure Garden
Join us as we explore our very own nature adventure garden at MNHC! We will learn about monarch butterflies, identify animal prints in our giant sandbox and even have a plant scavenger hunt with prizes!

Aug. 28  Ice Age Mammals
Come in from the heat and play with ice and snow while we learn about the gigantic and weird mammals that lived in Montana during our last age 15,000 years ago!
