July 10 | Ice Age Animals
Want to play with ice and snow in July?? Join us this Saturday as we cool off and explore Montana’s last ice age. We will learn about the weird and wonderful animals that lived here, remove specimens from blocks of ice and make cave drawings. Drop in anytime between 1:00 – 3:00 for this Saturday Kids Activity!

July 17 | Explore our Nature Adventure Garden
Join us as we explore our very own Nature Adventure Garden at MNHC! We will learn about monarch butterflies, identify animal prints in our giant sandbox and even have a plant scavenger hunt with prizes!

July 24 | Bird Bonanza
Our feathered friends are everywhere in Missoula so let’s learn about them together! We will examine real bird skulls, feathers and whole specimens, practice using binoculars and make a beautiful bird mobile to take home.

July 31 | Mysterious River Creatures
Missoula has three beautiful rivers with all sorts of small mysterious creatures. We will look at lots of real, live aquatic insects, learn about fish, reptiles and amphibians and do some fun crafts too!
