Join Kate Davis of Raptors of the Rockies and four live Teaching Team Birds for a program at MNHC. Kate will present a powerpoint about the facility and history, followed by a demonstration with a Peregrine and Aplomado Falcon, American Kestrel, and a little recap of her TED Talk with a Great Horned Owl. Kate’s books will be available for signing and sale, including Raptors of the West, which won the National Outdoor Book Award and Montana Book Award Grand Prize, and the second edition of Falcons of North America with over 260 photos and up-to-date science. Join us for the fun from 1:00-2:00 p.m.!

Note: Adults only please. 

Instructor: Kate Davis founded Raptors of the Rockies (a program of the MNHC for several years) in 1988, educating schools and the public about raptors and resource conservation. Since then, Kate and her birds have appeared in 1,820 programs for 137,000 audience members, young and old alike. She has also presented her lively powerpoint programs across the country from Boston to Seattle, with Chicago, Salt Lake City and Detroit in between. She has written and illustrated 6 books on raptors and one humor volume. Photography is another major passion, along with printmaking and welded steel sculptures.

The course fee (minus a 25% administrative fee) is refundable if a cancellation is made up to 7 days before the event. No refunds will be issued for cancellations made after this deadline. This ticket is non-transferable to other programs or events. See our full refund/cancellation policy here.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
Nope! We will have a list of all the attendees.
