About the Artist: Sage Friss is a Missoula-based artist with a focus on surrealism. He grew up in the mountains of Colorado and Montana and has always enjoyed interacting with nature. His work portrays animals in a variety of imagined realities. His most widely known pieces feature giant-sized house cats destroying cities and buildings. Sage is continually expanding his subject matter and the sense of realism and wonder in his practice.
