Join us for the grand opening of our long-awaited exhibit: Montana’s Ancient Past! Our staff are excited to showcase how Montana has changed over geologic time with our community. Kallie Moore, Collections Manager for the University of Montana Paleontological Center, will be our keynote speaker. Refreshments will be provided.

Want to get more involved? MNHC staff will be looking for visitors who’d like to share their feedback and impressions of the exhibit. Please look out for our staff at the grand opening–they’d love to hear your thoughts and takeaways about the exhibit!

Kallie Moore has managed the University of Montana Paleontology Collection for over 10 years and has been volunteering with the Montana Natural History Center since 2011. In 2017, Kallie became a host and content consultant for PBS Eons, a YouTube Channel dedicated to the history of life on Earth.

The 5:00-6:00 section is sold out.   REGISTER HERE FOR THE 6:00-7:00 SECTION
While it is free to attend, registration is required, it helps us prepare adequately for space needs and refreshments.

*The Montana Natural History Center strongly encourages all attendees to wear a mask in the Center when not eating or drinking.

Montana’s Ancient Past is made possible by a generous grant from the Institute of Museum and Library Services.
