Inspired by Nature: Expressive Markmaking with Nancy Seiler

November 23 @ 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm

$90

Location: MNHC

Date: Saturday, November 23

Time: 1:00-4:00 p.m.

Create  a work of art using unusual and exciting materials with instructor Nancy Seiler.

By combining GOLDEN OPEN Acrylics (slow-drying acrylics) with GOLDEN Gels, you’ll create layers that resemble the painting process of oil and cold wax without the use of solvents.

Starting on canvas with expressive mark making inspired by natural objects, oil and cold wax mixtures are added with a bowl scraper. Using a variety of tools, the paint is excavated down to the original marks. Come learn this unique way to achieve depth and interest in your paintings. No experience necessary! All materials provided.

Nancy Seiler is a certified Golden Artist Educator. She teachers workshops from her studio in Missoula and abroad. Her work is in numerous collections and exhibitions.

Cost: $90
