MNHC is currently seeking a Museum Youth Programs Coordinator!

Do you love kids? Do you love experiential education? Do you love developing and managing indoor and outdoor science and nature programs? We are looking for you! The Museum Youth Programs Coordinator plays an essential role in the operation of youth programming at MNHC. The position includes coordinating our Summer Science Outdoor Day Camps, School’s Out Camps, after-school programs, Museum Field Trips, and Center Visits, as well as the supervision of seasonal field staff and summer camp staff.

  • Full-time, permanent position
  • 40 hours/week
  • $18.50-$20.00/hour, DOE
  • Paid vacation, holiday, and sick leave
  • Eligibility for 403(b) retirement plan, including a 1% match

MNHC is currently hiring Seasonal Naturalists (7 positions available).

Have fun, get outdoors, and make a difference this summer while gaining valuable training and experience working in environmental education! Seasonal Naturalists will provide leadership and instruction for the full-day Summer Outdoor Discovery Day Camps at the Montana Natural History Center. Seasonal Naturalists will facilitate and lead various activities and themed camps, connect youth to nature, and explore the outdoors with children of different ages.

  • Full-time, seasonal position (40 hours/week)
  • Duration: May 27th – August 23rd, 2024
  • $15/hour
