INTERNSHIPS
The Montana Natural History Center offers internships
through the University of Montana, or can be offered independently.
Internships provide a comprehensive experience with how MNHC
operates as a growing non-profit organization with 15 years
of educational experience. One credit is earned for every
three hours of work per week for the duration of the semester
or summer session.
Internships are available in each of our programs,
including general environmental education and administrative/reception
assistance. Interns will gain experience in all aspects
of program development and implementation. Interns should
be self-motivated and committed to the principles of environmental
education. Independent Study credits are also available.
Internships are unique opportunities to create, build, and
enhance the educational exhibits and programs at MNHC, as
shown here with a completed exhibit by a 2006 intern.
