The Montana Natural History Center is your base camp for discovery

Note NEW! Fall/Winter Hours: Tuesday-Friday from noon–5 pm and Saturdays noon- 4 pm. Join us each Saturday at 2 pm for exciting children’s programs at MNHC. Free with admission. Great for kids ages 5 and up and their adults!

  • October 21 – Kids Naturalist Day
    Learn how to create a naturalist’s journal and then head outside to practice!
  • October 28 – Wonderful Wolves & Mask Making
    Time to learn about wolves through stories and specimens and more. Then make a wolf mask for Halloween!
