All activities start at 2 pm. Children must be accompanied by an adult. For kids 5 years and up. Admission is $2 per child. MNHC members are free.

Join Animal Wonders Exotic Animal Outreach for the scaly, the slithery and maybe the silly! Learn amazing reptile facts and get to meet a few friendly reptiles. A totally rad, reptile experience!

March 20th - Springtime Eggstravaganza!
Do all birds build the same kind of nest? Are all bird eggs white? You’ll get a chance to see some native bird nests, eggs and learn some eggstra-cool facts. The activity will finish with a nest art project just in time for spring!
April 17th: Kids’ Guide to Glacier!
Join local author Donna Love for a sneak preview reading of her new book ” The Totally Out There Guide to Glacier National Park.” After she reads her book, Donna will have a fun mountain goat activity for the kids. Definitely a must for any fan or future fan of GNP!
April 24th: Beautiful Beetles! *with live beetles*
Join UM Insect Lab Manager (and beetle expert) Annika Johns for an up close look at several species of big, beautiful beetles! You won’t believe your eyes! An experience that all - big and small - will enjoy!
May 8th: Big on Bugs!
What is the difference between a grasshopper and a cricket? Become an insect expert! We’ll learn how to identify common insects and take a walk to collect (and release) insects. Nets and bug boxes will be provided.
