RiverFest Art Contest!
This year's winner, Peggy Woods, grew up exploring the woods, creeks and coastline, developing a lifelong love of the natural world. Art has always been an integral part of her life, enjoying a 30 + year career in illustration and graphic design. For the past several years, she has turned her attention to capturing her unique glimpses into the natural world through watercolors.

Peggy Woods writes, “I love experiencing my world through the eyes of a potential painting. My awareness is heightened and enriched and ordinary scenes can come alive with magic with just the right light. Life is so much richer when we remember the beauty in nature and how it feels to be a party of it.”

RiverFest is in conjunction with Missoula Downtown Association's River City Roots Festival>>, September 16.
