Sip and Felt: Mountain Bluebirds with Claudia Paillao

December 12 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm

$25 – $30

Felt your own small small bird!

Artist and craftswoman Claudia Paillao, owner of Patagonian Hands, will teach you the technique of needle felting. Learn how to make a mountain bluebird by using barbed needles to poke the wool into shape. Claudia creates animals, mostly birds, using only sheep wool that she gets locally in Montana and from her family’s farm in Chile. You will receive all the supplies and instruction you need to make a small bluebird sculpture or ornament.

We will have a specimen and a variety of photos available for study so your sculpture can be as accurate as possible. Relax, sip a beverage, and chat with friends as you learn the art of needle felting!

$30; $25 for members. Ticket cost includes all materials and two glasses of wine.

Registration is required. Purchase tickets here. (Coming soon!)
