It features engravings by legendary artists including Frederic Remington, Karl Bodmer, John James Audubon, Alfred Jacob Miller, and George Catlin.
The exhibit is complemented by artifacts on loan from UM’s Philip L. Wright Zoological Museum. Silliman will discuss lesser known attributes of the animals, biographical backgrounds of the artists, and details concerning the multitude of print mediums employed in these diverse artworks.
