Bring a sack lunch and spend the day on the river with naturalist Lee Metzgar. We will start theThe day will start with a basic canoe class followed by paddling the Clearwater River Trail while learning about local wildlife, geology and more. Excellent opportunity for both beginner and advanced canoeists.
Lee Metzgar is a wildlife ecologist with an interest in natural history and geology. He has been teaching canoeing in Missoula for many years.
Time: 8 am – 5 pm
Cost: $30 MNHC members, $35 non-members, Family Rates available.
Fee includes: canoe rental, life vest, paddle and transport to river.
